Surya Namaskar, or Sun Salutation, is a series of postures or asanas most commonly included as a warmup during a Yoga Class. Sun Salutations serve a myriad of purposes, from lengthening and toning the physical body, to linking and uniting breath to movement. Many yoga practitioners choose to begin each day with a set number of Sun Salutations ,and there are also several significant dates throughout the year that are marked by completing a specific number of Sun Salutations. You will find many variations of the Sun Salutations in Yoga Classes throughout the world. Join Danielle for a 90 minute "Sun Salutation 101 "workshop , and leave this special course with a deeper sense of the purpose, history of, and beauty of practicing Surya Namaskar .
Tranquil Lake requires that you give a minimum of 4 hours notice when cancelling or rescheduling. Space is limited due to Covid-19 restrictions, and this allows other clients to book the spot. If you do not give adequate notice, unfortunately you will forfeit your payment or a portion of your class pass. If class starts in less then 4 hours, you will be unable to change your reservation online. By cancelling in a timely fashion, you will allow a student on the waitlist to attend class
